Once I finished my degree, I substituted in Pre-K-12th grade classrooms. One year later, I found an opening for a three-year-old Lead Teacher position at Playmates Child Care Centers. I am from West Virginia and mother of my ball of joy Sawyer. I moved to Graham in 2020 with my husband Dakota. I have a bachelor\u2019s degree in Elementary Education from Marshall University. During my Early Childhood clinical in college, I was lucky enough to work at a NAEYC accredited childcare center called Kiwanis. Once I finished my degree, I substituted in Pre-K-12th grade classrooms. One year later, I found an opening for a three-year-old Lead Teacher position at Playmates Child Care Centers. Through my 2 years of lead teaching, I learned various tools and strategies to enable children to learn through play and explore emotions in a positive way. I started at Little Thinkers in September of 2021 and love the work environment, the children, and the staff!
